Meet Our Team
Mark
18 years ago, Mark willingly stepped up to a Presidential role. Along the way, he has helped to expand the service and material capabilities of AES while building a team of professional and competent ‘Eventurists’ that follow the same client forward thinking philosophy, “We don’t service events; we service the people that make the event.”
Fun Facts: Husband, Father x4, oldest of 5 siblings, fly fisherman, golfer, BBQ aficionado, watching his kids’ sports, travel, movies. Go SF Niners and Giants!
Justine
Justine grew up loving hospitality, student body leadership and event organization. After graduating college at Azusa Pacific, Justine made the move back home to Sacramento pursuing her passion for event planning. Following several years of planning golf benefits, galas, meetings and conventions, she found her way to AES. As an Account Manager, Justine brings a tremendous pride in her organization, drive to exceed expectations, enthusiasm and building client relationships.
Fun Facts: Lover of ALL desserts and food, traveling the world, and playing with her pit bull Dany.
Natalie
With over 7 years of event experience, Natalie brings exceptional customer service and attention to detail with all projects and events planned. Natalie’s expertise comes from planning various types of events to include meetings, banquets, weddings, Casino VIP events and non-profit association events. As an AES Account Manager, Natalie is passionate about connecting with her clients and ensuring they are 100% satisfied with their Team AES journey each step of the way.
Fun Facts: Mother to one “sassy” toddler, BIG fan of Lady Gaga, life motto is to “Just Dance” as she loves dancing and always tries to make others smile and laugh
Abigail
Abby first discovered her passion for interpersonal communication when pursing her master’s degree in communication studies. During her time as SJSU, she balanced her studies while teaching public speaking courses to undergraduate students. Abby has broadened her professional skills and experience by working for business organizations such as Avaya Stadium, Hearst Television and the Real Estate industry. her leadership and customer service skills make her an integral and valued asset to the American Expo Exhibitor Services Team. She dreams it, she works hard, she grinds till she owns it. Needless to say, Abby slays.
Fun Facts: Dog lover, competitive soccer player, Foodie, avid supporter of anything Beyonce-related, spends most of her time binge-watching The Office.
Mary
Inside her 20th year in the industry, Mary brings a vast range of knowledge in many aspects of the job. Mary began in customer service and progressed to managing a customer service team for Metropolitan Exposition, a nationwide company. It was Mary’s love for freight that earned her role as Director of Transportation which ultimately lead to Director of Training & Safety. Mary shared her breadth of knowledge with AES to include: customer service, freight, production, rigging, project management and account management.
Fun Facts: Mary loves traveling the world, eating new cuisines and trying new adventures. She belongs to the Explorers Club for diving on shipwrecks and is a die-hard fan of the New York Football Giants.
Michael
As a member of the Exhibitor Services Department, Michael provides exceptional assistance for each customer. Michael brings over 3 years of customer service to the AES Team with skills in communications, problem solving and conflict resolution. Customer satisfaction is consistently met as Michael provides detailed and technical information of all AES products along with customized services. it is Michael’s goal to ensure each contact receive the highest quality of service to best serve their trade show needs.
Fun Facts: Proud father to his son Carson. Michael is a basketball fanatic, enjoys playing in his spare time and his favorite basketball team is the Sacramento Kings.
Sarah
Sarah has been working in customer service since she was 16 years old. She received her Bachelor of Science from Sacramento State in 2016, with a degree in Nutrition and a minor in Communications. She takes pride in making sure all exhibitors are informed and feel prepared prior to the event and enjoys meeting them face to face once on show site. She strives to always keep a positive environment in the workplace.
Fun Facts: Competitive body builder, loves to spend time with her 90 lb. pit bull, Wesley, taste tests every limited-edition Oreo, and can regularly be found singing and dancing at her desk.
